Biography

A creative and capable soul, Vermilion stumbled upon the Clan through means of trying to find a home with many people. Though he is still quite calm in personality and does not often talk about his past, Vermilion finds himself making a home of Avolare a bit more every day. After going through the phase of being a lone wanderer to being a father of many and using his time to tell a story through puppetry and toy making, I'd say the clan is very proud of him.

Early Life

Vermilion, born and raised by a mother not his own, was brought up in a small clan of dragons with an affinity for magic within the Viridian Labyrinth. He spent most of his early years as a hatchling training to be a mage within the Everbloom Gardens with other hatchlings. He had an affinity for enchantment and typically used this magic for enchanting objects.

It was midway into his training when a dragon named Astra arrived in the gardens. She had come from a place Vermilion had never been and was treated much differently than the others. Vermilion noticed Astra didn’t seem to have any affinity for magic at all although she tried hard. Astra was quiet but it was obvious she was frustrated and sad that she had no magic. Vermilion picked up on this sadness and in order to try and befriend Astra, began enchanting toys that he would send over to her as a sort of peace offering.

The two became friends and although Astra still struggled, they bonded over Vermilions enchantment of objects. All was well for the most part and the two went on many adventures. Things were good. At least before the incident in which Vermillion used his powers on Astra. To say the least, the event caused Astra to grow fearful of Vermilion, and in the midst of Vermilion's angst and sorrow, he decided to run away from the home he knew. During this time he wandered Sornieth endlessly, spending his days in small towns or villages and hopping from clan to clan trying to offer his services in exchange for food and shelter.

Notes

- Vermilion is one of the more unique dragons who's role and story I came up with minimal inspiration. It started with me throwing together his outfit and from there I realized for some odd reason his outfit reminded me of Gepetto from Pinocchio. From there, there was no way I couldn't allow Vermilion to be a magic toymaker.
