A dragon who seems to be wiser than her years, it is said that Celeste has been alive since the dawn of time.
She has an ability to manipulate the earth, for a reason unknown. She often spends her nights stargazing.

In the beginning of time, there was nothing. Only a deep blue, remained dormant for eons. However, the blue soon stirred. It rose from its sleep, stretching its magnificent wings.

The blue looked around, searching for signs of life, but found none. Growing bored, it chose to explore. It ran a massive claw along the edges of reality, and there was light. Crossing the black universe in giant leaps, it searched and searched, but only black matter crossed it's path. The blue was lonely.

Travelling for a million years longer, it found a small rock, floating in the vastness of the universe. The rock began to speak. "Hello," it said. "Hello," the blue replied. "You are the first being I have seen in my time of life. It is quite nice to learn I have company." the rock said. The blue replied, "Likewise. I was quite lonely."

Thus, the blue and the rock joined as friends. However, the rock was troubled. "I do not like this small body of mine, next to you. I would like to be as tall as you." So, the rock and the blue attempted to build the rock up. However, nothing worked.

"It isn't worth it," the rock said. "I will be like this forever." The blue was troubled by this. "No," it said to the rock. "No, you will be tall. I am sure of it." The blue thought for a while, and had an idea. "Here," it said, "I will help you."

Reaching a claw, it shed a layer of blue, and gave it to the rock. As predicted, the rock grew in size. However, the blue shrunk in size, although unnoticeable.

They continued to do this for years and years. The rock soon grew to be greedy, and asked for more blue. The blue ran out of strength quite soon because of this.

The rock, oblivious to the suffering it was putting the blue through, grew larger. It was soon the size of a planet. However, the blue decreased to the original size of the rock.

"I would like another layer of blue," the rock said. "I cannot give you that, rock. I am sorry," the blue replied. "Why not?" the rock said. "I shall die if I give you any more." the blue said. "I am certain you will live. Another layer cannot kill you." the rock said.

So, the blue gave the rock another layer, and felt its strength wane. It collapsed onto the rock's surface, letting out its last breath.

"Oh no," the rock cried. "My friend, come back. I did not mean for this!" it mourned. "My greed to be larger has killed you. I am eternally regretful."

Thus, the blue gave its life in service to its friend.
They say the blue is alive today, but none know if this is true.
