Solstice

Solstice is a Plague dragon by birth, though it is nearly impossible to tell, for the magic of fire surrounds and encircles her, leaving her a glowing titan of heat, fiery in all but her actual innate magic. How it came to be that she gave herself so entirely to Flamecaller's cause is a mystery; she will not say much about her time before joining the clan, but it is clear she believes her very life is owed to the Goddess of Fire.

The big ridgeback has fashioned herself to be part blacksmith and part self-styled shaman, practicing both the practical craft of smithing and a spiritual devotion to fire as an element of rebirth. A burrow system set apart from the rest of her clan serves as her home and forge, filled with burning herbs, incense, and other forms of open flame. Her views and practices are very private, and asides from the services as metallurgist that she provides to the clan, she rarely opens up to anyone. Those that she does open up to find a warm, protective dragon whose stoicism hides not bitterness but a quiet contentment.
