Breeding experiment spawned from a challenge from user Skua: Find a descendant of Argenta (progen) and breed something you like from it.
The history:
This lair's (#12207) true progens, Argenta and Vridar, had a single breeding. Which produced a single egg. This was a very auspicious start to Sil's FR adventure. The resultant baby was a pink/white monstrosity, pink being the only colour that Sil didn't want. (Pre-scatter Vridar's colours of carmine/storm/something were blamed. There was a wide range of colours, but of course the baby had to be pink).
This unnamed guardian was sold off asap. Argenta was paired with Geraint, and the original two were never bred together again (even after Vridar was scattered into more attractive colours). Some morbid curiosity caused Sil to check back on the monstrosity on the progens' pages only to find that she was named "Candy" and bred a couple of times.
The present:
Fast forward to this breeding experiment. Since Candy was born from the triple basic non-rare days, Sil decided to find out what happened to her descendants. Gallean #20430632, daughter of Ghali (who was one of the prettier offshoots from Candy's line) was obtained. Since this breeding experiment doesn't have any direction, Gallean was thrown together with another RTB dragon for the heck of it, producing a single egg nest. Cue déjà vu.
This dragon is the result of that single egg nest, only Candy's descendant went a step further and hatched double pink, despite her parents having a wide range of colours.
The curse holds true :x
