The dirt feels quite nice against the hatchling’s talons, and he enjoys it thoroughly, especially considering how willing it is to cave in around him. There isn’t anything he could ask for beside this. He’s grateful to the older Guardian and Obelisk for protecting him; he’s happy that he can spend his time beside his friends, the other spirits. He’s painfully content, to the point where it’s almost boring. He sighs, placing his head in the hole he’s effortlessly created. The smell of natural roots and soil satisfies him. A willing existence.
