Marley

Sitting by a pond with crystal clear water, was a Bogsneak, staring at his reflection and polishing his head fin until it was nice and shiny, once he was done with that, he began polishing his wings. When he was sure his head fin and wings were as shiny as possible, checked out his reflection once more.

Yes.. Now they were glistening in the sunlight, enhancing his already beautiful appearance. Yes, Marley was convinced he was the most beautiful Bogsneak in all of Sornieth.

And while being a Bogsneak meant he preferred to be alone, he also thought it was a shame no one was around to admire his beauty. So he decided to seek out a lair where he can show off how beautiful he is, and then get in some alone time when he was done.

So he set out on a quest to find a new home!

Marley had been walking for quite some time, until heard some noises up ahead, as he got closer to the noise, he could see a small group of Dragons.

They were a.. Interesting bunch, so to speak.. But one Dragon in particular caught his eye..

There, sitting by a river was a female Coatl with butterfly printed wings, she was almost as beautiful as he was. He decided to go up and talk to her.

The Coatl was just lounging there, basking in the sun, when Marley walked up to her and spoke.

"Ahem, Hello there, miss", greeted Marley, coolly.

The Coatl suddenly turned her attention to the Bogsneak"..Um, hello..", she greeted back, cautiously.

"Lovely day today, isn't it?", asked the Bogsneak.

"..Yes, it is..", replied the Coatl.

"My name is Marley", he announced.

"I'm Misty..", responded the Coatl.

"Such a beautiful name, for a beautiful Dragon..", complimented Marley, with a sly grin.

Misty just stared at him blankly, unimpressed.

"Nice clan you have here. A bit small, though..", commented Marley.

"We are actually just part of a clan. We are a band of traveling minstrels and mystics", explained Misty.

"You mean a chance to travel around and show the world how beautiful I am? That's perfect! How can I join?", asked the Bogsneak.

"Right... Well, if your serious, you'll have to ask, Hayze, he's the strange Coatl wearing the jester costume", informed Misty.

"I will! Thank you, miss Misty", said Marley, he then walked of to talk to Hayze.

Marley couldn't help but notice that Misty wasn't awed by his beauty.. He'd win her over soon enough.
