The Mutating Ice clan has been one of the few settlements to exhibit little fear over Diabolus, so she decided to stay as an unofficial one. Self purported priest of her God. In reality, a high level warlock Same difference, right? They both worship an entity of great power for a sliver of magic. A not very bright, mild mannered mirror that was raised in a clan that worshiped a dark earth spirit. Her clan was killed by a rival group and she ended up living in a dragonhome city. The priest of said city always captivated her, and so she decided she would also become a "priest" of her dark godling as well. Seeks to protect knowledge and others like the many priests of the Earthshaker. Always carries a book about her: this collection carries knowledge about her god as well as musings and goals. Diablos has become a conduit for a dark and malevolent earth being who mostly influences her through positive reinforcement. Diabolus is very cooperative about getting the Godling anything it request of her as long as no harm comes to others. This, coupled with the fact that there are few worshipers left has lead her to have immense power and command of it's underlings. A ray of dark sunshine who wishes no ill towards others. Has become warped with the constant channeling of her sponsor. Still wishes to only do good, but her sense of morality, pleasure, and pain has become a bit...off. The "how about I rewire your nerve endings to register all pain as pleasure" or "turn you to stone to end your suffering" sort of off. Responds moderately well to redirection. Has allowed a lot of corruption and pain into the world inadvertently. A hulking monstrosity of glittering stone and jagged obsidian. Its always a surprise when her chipper, high pitched voice emanates from such an intimidating body. The dark godling really just finds Diablos very adorable. Like a little puppy. And if a little bit of him rubs off on the planar trapped dragon, well, so much better to relate to then. He can't very well play with his new acolyte if she can't even SEE Him. Loves the clausterphobic, suffocating squeeze of the earth. The Final Embrace, soil finding home in lungs and creating wonderful quiet by dragging your choking mind into the dark. Cannot breathe, cannot move, all power taken from you and given the bliss of choicelessness. |
