Amara

Amara awoke to the loud cicada's buzzing in the heart of the shrieking wilds. he thought for a moment and realized he had no memories, he was lost in a darkened forest and the feeling of hopelessness settled in. as he tried more and more to recount his life events one thing hit him like a sledgehammer to the brain. he aproached the enourmous tree at the center of his homeland and he laughed as he was one of the first to reach The Behemoth. its great branches stuck out above and created a great canopy to hide from the summer heat, as majestic flower petals of every kind flew down and covered the grassy ground in a vibrant carpet and the energy of magyck flowed through the very air. He reached out to touch the great tree's trunk and when his claws landed instantly he could feel something in his mind as he heard the voice of the very Gladekeeper herself in his mind saying I CHOOSETH THOU AS MY HOLY CHAMPION and then he could feel the power of life flow in to him as his eyes began to glow with an amazing magyck and then... he blacked out. he looked around and whispered " what does it all mean" with a sense of hopelessness. he got up and walked towards the closest light and saw a strange sight plants around him began to bow towards him as he walked and glowing lightning bugs began marking a path for him. as he walked by dragons he could sense them bow and hear them say "welcome gladewalker". he began to fly at a faster pace and people began to follow him around. he soon made it to the gladekeepers temple where the bugs led him. he went inside and saw a statue of himself and wondered if that was always there he also began to wonder why he didnt come here more often and then his eyes landed at the cloacked figure praying at the base and the man spoke "thou hath been leadeth here by the acolytes of The Gladekeeper havent thee?" before he could speak the man spoke again saying "and thou wondereth if thou ist the one whom the statue was carved after?" his voice was frail and fragile but he spoke with strength and wisdom. the old man took a look at me and i could see his rare faceted eyes " you are a seer arent you, old man" "my name is aurus, but yes i am a seer" his joking and jovial tone seemed to ring in the air and made me feel happy in this hopeless hour. he explained to me that there is a dark force gathering and that the gods were choosing people to act as heroes and that their chosen seer's welcome them. "The Gladekeeper hath choseneth thou, now standeth and take your place among the eleven heroes, Gladewalker"
