full name: ameretat adhya morpheus
loose translation of name: immortal god who first created dreams/first god who created dreams (as in the first god to exist)
what each name means
i plan on renaming her to adhyamorpheus (said together as one name) since i feel the immortality part is unnecessary. when i first researched ameretat she was believed to be the first god to exist but its kind of hazy so i had to add in adhya. for now we will say ameretat is a false name as knowing her full name gives you ability to view her.
is an Iranian goddess whos name means non-death but more frequently stated as the word for the concept of immortality
is a hindu girls name used in many cultures that means first god/first power but it sometimes translates to goddess of power. in this sense it means first god. adhya (also spelled adya and aahya) is also a name/avatar for goddess durga who uses positive energy (feminine power) to use against wickedness.

ameretat is an elusive creature that few have ever seen. if you seek her out you will never find her. only those unaware are able to see her. she is incredibly playful, enjoying bouncing through strangers dreams and turning them into pleasant dreams ones. ameretat can create almost anything, often things for play. she creates pink bubbles to float in and pastel clouds to bounce on. ameretat is rarely violent or malicious but she is very mischievous. she sometimes tricks others into coming into her realm and trapping them there forever so she can always have a playmate. albina is the only creature to gain her favor thus albina can pass between realms but lives with ameretat. aka their lesbians harold.
other deities have rarely seen ameretat. they can sometimes cross into her home but if she would like to be left alone she can transport them out or hide.
where to find her
first you must uncover her true name. next you must find where the opening to her realm resides. the entrance to this realm is in a small clearing of plush, soft grass. the clearing has a ring of extremely tall mauve carnations and baby's breath flowers. then, a shallow looking stream that is endlessly deep circles around this flower ring. a thick forest that causes travelers to feel drowsy encloses this clearing and stream making it difficult to find. runes and odd trinkets are scattered all throughout the forest. when you enter this clearing you must fall asleep (which is rather hard) without her on your mind. only then can you enter her realm. youll wake up in the same area except in the center is a nest of flowers that ameretat sleeps in. if you are lucky, shell be watching you from there.
