Biography

Indigo (though he would only be named such later on) was left orphaned at a very young age, having ever met his true parents or clutch mates. Although the fate of his biological family is ultimately unknown, a common theory is that they were a few of many dragons who perished in the apocalypse caused by earlier civilizations. Regardless of the exact details, Indigo spent a significant portion of his childhood fending for himself and aimlessly wandering Sornieth. During one of his travels, he met and befriended another Spiral hatchling (who would soon be named Meredith); she informed him that she was born in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, but like Indigo, she was orphaned and had no knowledge of the whereabouts or the fate of her family. From then on, they both traveled together, soon treating each other as more than just friends, but as siblings.

One hot day, they found themselves lost in the dangerous grounds of the Abiding Boneyard, and unwittingly caught the attention of a pack of starving Mirror dragons. Tired and worn from their endless wandering, they were unable to escape the hungry pack, finding themselves cornered. Luckily for them, a powerful Guardian dragon intervened just as they were about to be eaten, and the pack was fended off. The Guardian, whom they would soon find out was named "Darnixur", took the two children in as his own, naming them Indigo and Meredith. Because the Guardian was unable to leave the Boneyard as punishment for an offense he'd committed as a hatchling, he taught them to defend themselves against future attacks.

Once the Guardian's sentence was lifted and he was able to leave the Boneyard, both Indigo and Meredith embarked on a journey to find a place to call home; this proved difficult, however, due to Darinxur's status as an anomaly born from the destruction of the Machine. Darinxur attempted multiple times to let clans adopt the two, but both of them refused to leave Darinxur. After many moons, the three found an abandoned city occupied by only a single injured Bogsneak; this abandoned city would eventually become the Violet Sea, and the injured Bogsneak (whom he himself named "Ella", as no one had ever given her a name) would eventually become his adoptive father's mate, and in turn, his mother.

Now a young adult, Indigo serves as an official member of the Star Council to remain close to his father (and his mother), while his sister Meredith currently resides in the Rune Ruins to learn and practice Elemental sorcery. Indigo is relatively close to Major, Ella and Darinxur's biological son and heir to the Violet Sea throne, and they get along well, despite Major being more talkative and social than Indigo.

Extra Trivia:

- Personality-wise, Indigo is often described as very quiet and reserved. Unlike Major, he is quite introverted and prefers to keep to himself, often spending Holiday and festivals within the Royal Chambers to avoid crowds.

- Indigo's favorite food is Rambra-meat and Dubia roaches.

- When asked by Ella if he would ever want to be the heir of the Violet City throne prior to Major's birth, Indigo declined, saying that ruling an entire kingdom would be "too stressful" for him to handle, possibly because being a head monarch would require regular socializing.

- During downtime, Indigo likes to moongaze alone and read books in the Royal library.
