Biography

No one goes near the deepest cave on the isle, not anymore.

A reanimated corpse of one of the isles first inhabitants, their family long dead eons before the current clan set their claws into the sands of these islands. They mainly keep to themselves, wandering around their lonely, echoing halls. But on some nights, when the chatter of the marketplace has settled to a low hum they venture out into the streets above. Residents have come to appreciate their stories, the wet rasp of their voice as they curl around the bonfire, indulging in what little they can before slinking back into the depths below.

The Isles functions as a trading hub in the sea of a thousand currents but they were not the first to call the place home. Its old inhabitants seemed to have all but abandoned the island in a hurry, with the remnants of their lives fading over years as with no one there to keep the island in shape causing it to fall into disrepair.

But after it was rediscovered and dragons started calling the isle a home once again it began to look like the isle wasn't truely abandoned. Strange tracks and liquids began appearing in spots around the island overnight every couple months or so and could not be traced back to any species living on the island.

Eventually some young foolhardy dragons went venturing into the cave systems deep below the island and stumbled into someone, well more something at this point they found the rotted but reanimated corpse of one of the islands original inhabitants Ripplen who had not been able to escape whatever horrors befell the island to cause the original inhabitants to leave, dying deep beneath the earth but forced to stay living by some supernatural force echoing below the earths depths with no idea where his family and clan may have gone.
