Biography
Kesuk MistralGazer
Profession : Scavenger
Fighting Capability : Close ranged fighter
Origin : Snowsquall Tundra
As a native tundra of the frozen isle, life has not been always easy, but it's been good. He grew to hunt and navigate the chilled territory, but he was a revered explorer, because he never got lost and came back swiftly after finding enough things to sustain or amaze his old clan. But as time went on, he envied the life outside his native land, and after giving so much to his community and reaching the milestone of being middle-aged, he prepared for a bigger voyage and bid his clan goodbye.
Travelling up to the mainland of the Starfall Isle was easier for him than trying to brave the hurricane or worse : the lava rivers of the Ashfall Wastes. Everything went well, until he hit the plagued fields. His journey got slowed down by recurring nausea and such tasteless illnesses, but he eventually reached Dragonhome. He could only complain about how the terrain was hard to treck through when he tried not to fly to stir unwanted attention. Still, he couldn't see himself settle down, Dragonhome was one of the three lands he hasn't been while scanveging, because it was so far away. He explored it all after months and he still hasn't found a place that would suit him.
He carried on and found the shore closest to the Viridian Labyrinth again. He couldn't lie to himself, he was terrified of the great foliage and enormous trees covering the sky and blocking the wind even though he knew nature-inclined plants, beasts and dragon wouldn't like ice abilities, but he though that even his knack to never getting lost would get challenged. After camping on the very border of the forest for several days, he walked up to the confines of the emerald land.
He couldn't say that food was an issue, but the issue was what kind of food couldn't he eat ? The answer was many. He didn't imagine this lustrous land to be just a big trap for newcomer and yet here he is, he can see why PlagueBringer and Gladeskeeper are sisters... He camped in a cool area under the raised root of a tree and next to a pond, recovering from a weed that irritated his insides when a fae and a spiral came up to him. He was bigger than them of course, and could defend himself, but stayed down and would let them pillage his provisions if they desired so, but to his surprise they were concerned, they kept their distance of course but asked if he needed assistance. The fae, who is named Whistlebud, came closer and asked what kind of plant he ate, and after replying, she chuckled. "They look tasty, huh ?" She said, then shifted to get some ingredients out and made a quick mush of different kind of stuff he never imagined would be a remedy. He accepted the medicine and felt better under an hour, but maybe the company helped too, he was getting lonely and the fear of dying alone was creeping up on him. He recognized the pristine spiral from a small tribe of frost spiral who travelled through the mistrals, they retained a bit of their nomad origins.
He accepted to come to their settlement, just so they could at least educate him on the plants that are edibles and the ones that can and will grab him if he doesn't pay attention. He had a good time meeting different kind of people, or simply observing some who couldn't themselves to greet him. He especially couldn't take his eyes off Whistlebud, she was strong, yet kind and also learned that she was his age too. He went on to do some exploration by himself, learning a lot about the plants, but also about the unique trinkets and relics of the forest which are often made of extinct beasts bones or teeth and fossilized folliage or sturdy braided recipients.
He was undecided about travelling to another land, he was feeling accepted and felt like his brain was challenged again because he was learning. He was eating by himself as he was pondering on this and the other who took care of the food came to give him company. Veridian asked him what was bothering him and he spilled the beans to this cute guy.
