Biography
Eremurus was already a young man when we stumbled across him on the auction block. He was calm as could be in the midst of the noise, looked us in the eye quite kindly, and (with surprising eloquence for a Tundra) said "It's a pleasure to meet you. I regret I'm not very striking to look at, but I can offer conversation. And a smile, naturally." We were immediately smitten... and Ranu's daughter Iris was, too. Who could blame her, for Eremurus said, upon meeting mother and daughter, "We're all various flora, how wonderful. I'm named for Eremurus Himalaicus, the foxtail lily. And you're obviously Ranunculus, the buttercup, and Iris Ensata, the Blue Beauty. How fitting for such beautiful ladies."
Knowlegeable, charming, eloquent, and a true pacifist, Eremurus will only be coaxed into the coliseum on the promise that he may examine and catalog any unusual plants he might find along the way. He refuses to fight unless it would mean one of his teammates going down, but when he does engage he won't back down. "Let it never be said that I'm disloyal, or uncaring toward a dragon in arms," he explains, "But I always feel dreadful picking a fight."
He's since relaxed somewhat on the field, mostly due to a stroke of luck. One morning, after a particularly stressful scuffle with a clown charger, he stumbled across a discarded waistcoat in the bushes. We think it suits him perfectly. (Everyone loves a sharply dressed dragon.)
