Auron was a traveling Potions Merchant for good part of his life, often travelling with his sister Elwen until arriving at the Plagued Soul's clan. Here they met Sanguinae, a beautiful and kind Pearlcatcher and before he could understand what was happening both of them fell in love with him.

Auron was never good to deal with feelings, so he simply acknowledged them but closed off his heart, his sister on the other hand dived headon in this newfound relationship, she got pregnant right away though and this somewhat scared her. She almost run away right after layng the eggs, but Auron convinced her to stay at least after they hatched and so she did, but a few days after the little hatchlings were born she picked her things and left in the dead of the night.
Differently than his sister, Auron couldn't leave Sanguinae alone, after her depature the kind dragon he fell in love with was a broken mess, yet underneath his sorrow Auron could see his determination to take care of his children. Moved by that and buried even more deeper in his complicated feelings for the young Pearlcatcher, he stayed and helped him raise his little newphews and nieces, while at the same time slowly, but surely, mending his beloved's heart.
