-dart, a mute fae, and snarl, a young guardian on the hunt for his charge met and snarl came from a pirate family
-they built their own ship with the help of obsidian, bluebell, aurora and snowfall
-more and more dragons came to live on their ship, which kept growing bigger
-dart and snarl had some kids
-obsidian and bluebell had some kids
-dart and snarl decided they didn't really wanna lead and let bluebell's kids take over
-bluebell had more kids
-bluebell's More Kids, lotus and violet are now healer and healer assistant respectively
-dart and snarl's kids left bc they were bored
-dart and snarl had osser, gifted with seeing the future clearer than anyone else. she also doesn't have a mouth
-vator fell from the sky, also gifted with seeing the future
-vator took an oath of silence, for funsies
-violet got jealous and decided her and snowfall should commit some crimes together
-snowfall attempted to find magic in the sunbeam ruins that could fix his pearl
-he accidentally found some weird skydancers who could literally destroy everything
-he brought them back in a secret hatch on the ship
-some dragons started wondering if tidelord actually exists
-"that's it, let's go find dad"
-several underwater explorations later, nobody thinks god exists/cares about them
-"wouldn't it be fun if we got the children to find him instead of us"
-"oh no we're out of children! hey you two, make us some more!"
-is this a slave trade? yeah probably
-they begin hearing rumours about this supposed hidden deity called the voidtaker. it's a great idea to go find him, right?
-they try to ask the weird skydancers they found before about it, but they get mad and rip a massive hole in the ship. whoops.
-some dragons think the voidtaker's a bit dodgy tbh, so they mysteriously disappear
-"wait. if tidelord is probably dead, who killed him?"
-they move their boat to the water around the southern icefields to see if icewarden is hiding him
-they arrive, start questioning the guards, who lock hem up for being annoying
-and now they literally can't escape... maybe
