Rosemary

Rosemary Black is a name this young lady chose for herself when she took to the streets to get away from horrible abuse at the hands of her birth family. From the age of 8 she began her career as a petty thief to put food in her belly and try to find a roof to sleep under. She has an extreme distrust of men in general, and constantly works to hide all aspects of her femininity, including binding her chest and exercising like a demon to develop better strength, stamina and flexibility.

When Rosemary was 9 she begin to hang outside a dojo in her free time, mimicking what she saw going on through the window and trying to teach herself martial arts. A kind instructor invited her inside, and offered to let her join a class for five dollars a month- a princely sum to her, but an unspeakably kind thing for him. The next week she brought in her five dollars in change, and begin learning to hone her body to a fighting machine.

In order to pay for a competition at the age of 12, Rosemary learned how to steal cars. She already had breaking and entering skills, and she was very tall for her age. She also looked innocent enough that no one would suspect she was a car thief.

Patrick Flanagan, a NYC police detective, was just getting ready to refer her to ValCorp when she successfully stole a very expensive custom car from Tracy Lui, Trenton Valeri's personal assistant, getting it all the way back to the chop shop before being caught. After torching the chop shop and everyone in it except for Rosemary, Lui gave the girl a choice. She could sign a lucrative contract with the elite Valcorp security team and develop the skills necessary to stop herself from being caught, or she could join her fellow chop shop members in the fire.

Rosemary signed on with Valcorp, and soon became one of the top three female security specialists in the company.
