Anyone who meets Emere is always delighted by his joyful demeanor. His smile is always bright and his gestures are always of excitement. Though, you'd expect to hear the usually-monotone voice of the Fae to be equally friendly, you will be surprised to hear... nothing.

Emere was born mute and throughout his childhood, the poor Fae could never muster a sound and had to speak through elaborate gestures with his hands and wings. He was loved nonetheless, and was always cheerful despite the teasing.

Because of his faults he did take up one occupation that he enamors over-- baking. Give Emere a clay furnace and some ingredients and he could cook and bake all day, using every resource within his grasp. Baking never required him speaking to others much. He would mind his own business, quiet as a fawn, his hands busy crafting delicious goodies of which to share with clanmates and friends. Because of the solitude of cooking, it turned out to be a perfect hobby for him. Any hatchlings definitely enjoy the treats he makes. And every compliment is met with a flare of his wings and a thankful bow.

Emere is always sure not to be a bother to the clan. If he ever feels that he is annoying anyone or is 'taking up space' he will simply leave and find another opportunity. It may be because of his 'disability' that he has that mindset. There has never been a circumstance that he wasn't treated well or his talents adored- but if he ever gets scolded or criticized he does not take it well.

He needs to be treated gently, much like the decorations of a pastry. But with Emere around you would never need worry about a gloomy day--- let alone one without plenty of cakes.
