• Like Socorro, Fefasi and Heilin were caught in the conflict between the Kingdom of Sterian and the Verlias Empire. When their clan fled, the two of them became separated. Eventually found by the elder Bogsneak, she attempted to help them locate their family. As the odds of finding them became slimmer, she became their caretaker.

• At some point during their trek to Windswept, Heilin contracted a virus when they were bitten by a dragon that attacked the group for their food. With so little resources around, Socorro hasn't expected the Nocturne to survive. She occasionally jokes that Heilin is their good luck charm.

• From this experience however, Fefasi grew increasingly protective of Heilin, tending to stand off to the side or just slightly ahead of them as if anticipating the need to leap in and block a blow. As the Nocturne has gotten older, his protectiveness has become a strain on them.

• Though they don't mean to, Heilin can come off as being territorial or distant. They've spent most their life having to fight to defend themself. It's taken time, but they've slowly gotten adjusted to their new home and being around other dragons.

• Like his mother, Fefasi enjoys cooking and helps her create new recipes for the clan.
