Floss

Scatter scrolled twice- 1st of July, 2019.
Breed change from Tundra to Nocturne 2nd of July, 2019.

Floss had been a moody tundra. Very moody, never fully knowing where he wished to go or where he wished to be.
When he stumbled across Sora at one point, the vibrant Fae and her excitement had made him feel wanted. But it didn't last long. He was quick to venture out after siring a clutch with her, and came back weeks later, only to vanish again.
He disliked the bright pink of his fur, and how it clashed with the darker browns. He hated how his fur always felt water clogged and full of salt no matter how much he cleaned, or how tied he was to his element and the tide lord.
In his journey away from his home with Sora, he stumbled across a few scrolls, scatter scrolls- they could change his colours for sure. Perhaps he would feel better if he were not so pink.

Upon using them, his excitement soon turned to disappointment. When he gave up his colours of brown and pink, he was met with neon purples and bright greens. He was mortified, oh how he stuck out like a sore thumb.
"Perhaps a fae could make these work, or a spiral with the right patterns- But certainly not I as a Tundra!" He wailed.
So he used another.
Soft warm brown, and striking orange. Yes. He liked this. But... it wasn't right JUST yet.
In his eagerness to change, to be more comfortable with himself, and his desire to belong and fit in- he found a scroll that would make him a nocturne.
And so he returned to his Den a changed dragon- and of course... Sora's welcoming energy washed over him the same as it had before. She didn't care what his colours were, what breed he was. She would always adore him as her friend, and would always accept him no matter his stripes.

No more would the water and salt catch in his fur. He would glide like a serpent contentedly now.
