Lonan

Lonan and Thanh are two sides of the same coin; quite literally, in fact, as one of them was born from the shadow of the other, halving their powers and their lifespans, and ensuring that they must always be together, lest one consume all the energy the other has to offer.

This has made Lonan something of an outcast in the clan, as people fear that he will drain their energy and life away as well. Lonan is quite content with the current state of things; he would rather people fear him for every day of his life if it means protecting Thanh from the rumors and outright hatred from some members of the clan. Lonan would quite happily give his life if it meant keeping those angry within the clan from discovering that it is in fact Thanh that is a being of shadow, and not himself.

Thanh is weaker and more easily tricked by outward forces, and Lonan knows that if he protested his own treatment, no one would be able to protect Thanh then, not even himself. The only ones who know the truth are Panacea and Zumurrud, although the entirety of The Hive welcomes them both with open arms, caring not for the rumors and fearing no strange magics. The strange masked Fae also seems to have some inclination of the truth, but he seems to actively work with Lonan, presenting them both with greeting licks every few days and squeaking something about shadows every time he licks Lonan.

There are times when Lonan is certain that Adam must know, but the Nocturne never seems to say anything. He'll watch the two together, his eyes intent on Thanh, but what he sees, he keeps quiet. Lonan can only be grateful for it.
