I longed for a place somewhere far
that seemed to be etched in my memory like a scar.
A place that would bring me clarity,
a home to give me serenity.
While traveling to Elysian, Ryujin decided it would be best if he changed his breed and had some firefly companions to keep him company as well as comfort him on his journey. He just wanted to forget his past, and start new. While he was whispering to the fireflies one night, they whispered back and told him that they, too, needed a companion, and wanted to show him something. They showed him the stars. He was so entranced by them, he understood the fireflies need for them. So he let some of them go. In return, he got a gift from the stars.
Hhh I'm tempted to keep his Butterfly, but Constellation is part of his lore. Any ideas?

He was a brilliant light amongst this sanctuary, an oddity to those who came across him. His wings glittered with brilliant stars that would glow even amongst the light of day. He was silent. Never one to curse or shout when things went wrong. He would only smile as if he knew that it would become better. That these darkened days were merely a storm. Storms always had an end.
Some claimed it was those fireflies that taught him this. They would find him at night, swarms surrounding him, and the other dragons could hear a faint whisper across the wind. The brilliant flashing of their lights and that voice. He would spend most of his nights with them, whispering quiet tales. They were the only creatures who would hear his sweet voice; the only ones who could understand the pain that he spent his days in.
They were the only creatures that would ever understand.
