Biography
Personality and place in the clan:
Mated to Caeruleum.
Acts happy 24/7 and only lets down her guard around her brothers or her mate.
Often has nightmares about being abandoned by her mate and losing her brothers again.
Official mapmaker and part time explorer who travelled down from the North to find the place she belonged.
Even though she's a mapmaker, she's constantly getting lost.
Goes on trips often, 99% of the time she takes her apprentice with her, but not always.
Lore:
The nest Delior hatched from was weak, as all four of them hatched near the middle of winter in a strange burst of heat from the elements. Their parents were warriors, and they knew that such weak offspring would not survive their lifestyle.
So, being the great parents they were, they decided to take their children on a little trip to the edge of the Tangled Wood closest to the sea. Then left them there.
They lasted a day and a half curled into a pile with Delior in the middle, keeping her warm, before the first of the brothers passed away. The other two passed over the next day, leaving Delior curled up to their rapidly cooling bodies, not truly understanding what had happened, or why her brothers wouldn't wake up.
The next day, a passing nature guardian noticed their pile. He was overwhelmed with sadness at the sight, but when a small blue imperial popped her head out from the middle of them, he nearly had a heart attack.
He was quick to remove his coat and wrap it around the shaking hatchling, cradling her in his arms until she was sufficiently warmed.
The guardian took her on as his apprentice. He was a mapmaker, and under his tutelage, Delior became one of the leading mapmakers in the Viridian Labyrinth.
A few years before she would have been officially announced an adult, Delior's mentor and caregiver was struck with a fatal illness. Consumed with her grief, she left the Labyrinth and spent the next few years wandering the land, never stopping in one place for too long.
She eventually made her way down the eastern side of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where she met Caeruleum, a peaceful imperial. He invited her to visit his clan, Clan Musicorum in the Lair of a Hundred Songs. After spending a short amount of time in residence there and beginning a relationship with the striking imperial, she decided to stay. Her mentor had commented on her singing ability a couple of times, so she figured she'd do fine.
She was accepted with open arms by the little fae, Mahira, and her mate, Rothiron, both of whom she would come to call good friends.
