When Inari was younger she dreamed of becoming a princess. She already had a very striking presence, she found most dragons got out of her way pretty quickly and she could silence others at a mere glance. Learning as all other hatchlings did about the world Inari delighted in hearing of other lairs and royalty.

She watched as her father left to serve the Arcanist, his departure sparking an interest in magic. Trying it though was another matter and her mother was strongly against it. This was probably for the best as Inari’s first magic lesson had blown a hole in a load bearing wall and brought half the roof down. Scared by what she might do Inari stopped magic altogether.

When she matured she found herself breaking up clan squabbles more than acting like a refined lady as her mother had wanted. The choice to change her scales with had been a big one but her new look gave her great confidence enough even to try her hand at magic again.

This time however her mother was no longer around and the clan had a few more skilled mages to assist. Inari successfully summoned her Companion Comet first try, no one was injured and the lair was intact. So Inari continued with her magic summoning more apparitions and spirits each spell, the odd demon slips though but her mate is quick to protect her when things get dangerous.
