- rumours abound that she comes from a research facility, but the role she played at this facility varies depending on who is telling the tale
- verity confirms nothing, preferring to let those around them assume as they see fit; it doesn't bother them
- they have an innate knowledge of the medical, which is what drew them to their role as an archivist
- some say that her history as an experiment gone wrong put her off to the possibility of being a researcher for the archive, as rumours claim that the position was offered to her, but she refused
- they tend to keep quiet and to themselves, but can often be found in the library proper, going over notes and muttering to themselves about something or other
- however, it is well known throughout the archive that verity's sense of hearing is unbelievably keen, making it impossible to keep secrets from her so long as you are within range of her ears
- they have been known to occasionally transcribe bits of conversation they have overheard into the books they annotate without realizing
