Hiuki and Shiel
An old, forgotten myth, It begins with the younglings sired by a grand wizard by the name Vodfinnr. The male youngling was named "Hiuki" (the returner), the female "Shiel", and so they were; brother and sister. The great wizard cared deeply for his younglings, and he vowed nothing shy of a god would be able to harm them so long as he had strength. So it was that the younglings grew, learning what their father would teach until one full moon's night. After a long day's travel through dense woods the wizard and his younglings stopped to make camp and soon after the camp was set, the wizard took his rest. Soundly he slept knowing the ward he had placed around the camp would keep them all safe, but the spirits were playful this night and the younglings curious. Hiuki and Shiel danced with the forest spirits through the woods until eventually they came across a hill in a clearing. Upon this hill sat a well; In that well, a pail. The younglings drew from the well and drank from the pail... and the moon watched. as the younglings made their way back down the hill, the moon reached down an stole the younglings from Jord (Earth). It is said that they follow the moon to this day.
