Treat

In the deepest depths of the shadows, there lies the veil to another world. The Realm of Spirits, Demons, Ghouls, and other such creatures of the night. Normally this veil can allow these creatures a peek into the world we know now, and escape is difficult. But in time where this veil is weakened or is at its thinnest, this is when they can escape to either wreck havoc wherever they go, or to play harmless tricks. Pray that you run into the latter, as the spirits are more forgiving than those of the ghoul classifications, or worse, the demons.

Are you truly alone? Many start to ask themselves that when they see movement out of the corner of their eyes or that a shadow moved in the room without there being anyone else there. The answer is, no, you are not alone. And those creatures in the night belong to the Other Realm, also known as the Realm Beyond the Veil or even the Realm of Shadows. Spirits, Demons, and Ghouls reside in this shadowy place, and each of these groups are different. Many prefer mischief, playful pranks, or are very destructive.

Treat was an Elder in the Spirit communities. Although an Elder is normally considered an older dragon, with the Spirits, it was more of a leader position who held knowledge of the workings of the Veil that separated their two realms. If someone had dared to call Treat old... The last youngster who had done so had hidden away from her for three weeks. No one knows what trick she played on him but he never once said anything bad about her again. This served as the one and only warning to everyone. She may be playful and sweet tempered, but she was very sensitive about being told she was 'old'.

Ghouls and Spirits normally didn't get along well. However it was a special situation with her and Trick. For Treat had turned Trick's trick around on him and startled him to the point he was impressed.
