Telkon
Progenitor Ultimo Heaven Dragon
Telkon is a Progenitor and Ultimo (Founder) of his Bloodline. He is a Heaven Dragon from the Nature Flight who spent his long youth and mid-life fighting for the Gladekeeper.
He met the Custodian during a period of meditation. Tired of the wars and battles of the world, he pondered on a way to free himself, a way to make his Search a thing of peace. The Custodian stumbled into his den, pursued by a bear, which Telkon swiftly drove away. The Custodian and the Dragon shared a fire and a meal and by morning Telkon had resolved to forge his own clan and fight only to preserve their freedom - that would be his 'charge'.
Telkon decided the assistance of a non-dragon might be worthwhile and offered the Custodian a provisional place with the clan. The Custodian cared for Telkon and his first mate, the Wild Blue Mirror, Locket, while they were nesting in the Viridian Labyrinth and was present at the birth of the Telkoni Prime Dragons (The First Brood of Telkon); Demetria, Neptus and Argwylon.
Shortly after his first brood hatched, Telkon flew south, to the Icefields, relocating his clan. He took in refugees, collected stray eggs and sent the Custodian to purchase Dragons and Hatchlings at market, to free as many as they could from their bonds.
His first mate, Locket, left the nest after raising their first brood to return to the Viridian Labyrinth. Telkon was bewildered by his mate's departure and grew fond of the young Guardian, Goldie, who comforted him over Locket's absence. Telkon and Goldie soon sired two eggs together, giving rise to the Telkemisic Bloodline, the merging of Telkon's and the Death Guardian, Mortemis'.
Telkon and Goldie have sired two broods in total, though presently only their son Ylendi from their second brood remain with the Clan.
