Pastelle's Shade Remover

They are mates with Vervain for unknown reasons as they at first glace appear incompatible. They are the more mellow of the pair and often let Vervain perform tricks on his own or with Sakura as those two seem to enjoy that sort of thing more than he does. They are aloof, but not cruel, and actually will show affection to those they care about, they just are slow to warm up to other dragons. They collaborated with Peony in attempts to learn how to magic away the Shade that corrupts the familiars that wander into Pastelle to hurt all living beings there. Their first success was on the Ravenous Cauldron that was trying to eat their mate Vervain, so they saved him. Peony helps them remove the residual Shade from their magicked familiars by bonding with them. They can usually be found doing this with new familiars, or assisting other dragons in the clan with other odd jobs. They love their Primrose Mith, which is the second familiar the Peony and Begonia removed the Shade from together. They collect herbs and plants to eat and create a sort of Shade removal paste that they rub on corrupted familiars. When applying the paste, Begonia dons a goggles to protect their eyes, otherwise the familiars might get upset and scratch or bite them. Other parts of Begonia's body are safe because few teeth or claws can penetrate through Begonia's Crystal and Faceted skin.
