Calligraphy

Calligraphy, despite her humble lifestyle, has the feel of a noble dragon - and this is true, for once she lived an aristocratic life. Due to circumstances she refuses to discuss, however, she now works as a mercenary, taking up guard detail and guarding treasures. At her heart, she never forgot her origins, and this shows in the ways she interacts with her employers - she is noble and true to her word (almost to a fault).

In her spare time, she makes handcrafted ink that she sells through a close merchant friend. It’s one of the few things she keeps from her past life - although she has a wonderfully flowing hand, she rarely writes, instead choosing, in her words, to “create the means by which others can create stories.” The inks she makes have a brilliantly metallic sheen to them, and the flecks of these pigments can be seen sparkling around her claws.

Calligraphy knows some simple offense spells, but magic isn’t her forte. Even so, the one luxury she allows herself to collect is specialized spell-scrolls, which she keeps in a secret compartment of the knapsack she travels with. Most of these are far too advanced of enchantments for her to ever cast, but she’s fascinated with the theories behind their creation.
