As he was traveling through the Starwood Strand, a place he often visited, he came across a Fae dressed in Rouge attire. Just as he was about to leave, the Fae stopped him. "What brings you here?" The dragon's voice was monotone, no surprise there, as he seemed to be trying to read his emotions. Ryu knew that Faes, had difficulty communicating with the other breeds. So he tried his best to seem friendly, and show he wasn't a threat. "I was merely, visiting one of my favorite areas. I hadn't known there'd be other dragons here." He kept his tone calm. "Hmm, I see." Came the Fae's response, before going back to whatever task it was doing. From the looks of it, the Fae had deemed him none threatening. "I'm Ryu, by the way." He decided to introduce himself, for no other reason than to maybe make a friend. "Noctis, but everyone back home calls me Noct." The Fae replied coming to land near the Imperial. So this dragon is part of a clan, no wonder he seemed suspicious. "You're part of a clan then?" Ryu had asked slightly curious, he could see the Fae tilting his head eyes narrowing. "I am, are you not?" Ryu shook his head, letting out a sigh. "I've been by myself, for as long as I can remember." The Fae pondered for a bit before answering, "You've managed to survive this long, on your own. That's rather impressive." Noctis circled around him, sizing him up. Ryu watched him, and was about to say something. Before Noctis stopped him, "We're always looking, for more dragons to help train the younger ones. How would you like join us?" The question came as a shock, to the Imperial and it took a while for him to finally answer. "Sure, I guess." That was how Ryu came to join, Noctis and his new found family. ________________________________________ |
