-egg found and raised by a small flock of harpies that had broke from the main flock and were looking for any kind of advantage now that they were surviving on their own. They trained him to help them hunt and fight, and he remains suspicious of other dragons and harpies that don't come from his small flock.
-the small flock originally had a male harpy with them, but he was sheltered and unprepared to live in the wilds, and passed away soon after they left, well before Kuntur was born
-contact with clan initially tense, as Kuntur spoke only the harpy language and their flock had been having difficulties with dragon clans encroaching in their territory
-after finding out about their troubles clan worked to persuade them to relocate into their territory in the plateaus, where they could live with dragon-protected rights to their their territory and Kuntur could learn about dragon society
-negotiations fierce, but eventually settled on- harpy flock has unlimited hunting access to a small section of clan’s land and limited hunting rights over the rest
-Kuntur is always eager to prove himself, especially his fighting prowess, because it was what the harpies valued most from him growing up, and his wants to make his family proud.
