She’s in the Land of Wind when she gets the news. Her grandmother and many others of her kin were banished from her old clan for attempting a coup upon the leaders. She’d been so shocked by the news she’d nearly squashed a smaller dragon by sitting down so abruptly. She couldn’t believe it, so much of her family was now scattered and she didn’t even know where to find them. She despaired again on not staying or at least stopping by to visit more. She was so caught up in her Search she’d barely stopped to think about who she’d left behind. It seems she no longer had much of a chance unless luck was on her side, which it usually wasn’t.

She once again despaired at this wild goose chase her Search had become. Every time she thinks she gets close it suddenly seems as if she’s heading in the complete opposite direction or the distance has somehow lengthened immeasurably. She’s long since realized her charge must be either some type of a flying creature or a very busy dragon, but that didn’t make the frustration lessen any. She almost wished this bond worked both ways so she wouldn’t keep just missing them. The least she could say was she came out of this with more stamina than most dragons, as well as perfected her flying to try and shorten the distance as fast as possible, though they seemed to be just that bit faster or aided by magic. Gladekeeper had better let her see some of her family again if she was going to make her run back and forth across Sorneith.
