Biography

I promise, I'm a sweet guy. I have soft fur you can rub against and I'm always happy to be a shoulder for you to cry on.

I usually keep up clan morale, but since they're going strong now, I'd like to spread my joy farther to new generations of dragons.

My favorite friends are faes and my favorite food is Dwarf Mushrooms. My favorite trinkets are Common Podid Claws, or should I say back scratchers, and Black Wolf Pelts, or should I say a warm little security blanket.

In my travels I have seen many things, looking for a place that I could feel I could change for the better; passing many of Dragon. Starting from the Mighty Tundra, the next best place seemed to be the land of the winds and spirals. Many lone dragons and clans I passed, but they didn't seem to need or want my service, until coming across Sphinx. A wind spiral dragon that you would have thought would have reflect her heritage, but she seemed to be quite the opposite. Beside her scared behavior I have helped her and she joined my journey.

We traveled across the lands of the waterlord to find a way into the cliffs of Light, I found the land of light ring with me and my cause, but even in a land of truth; disorganization and confusion can live. Sphinx and I came upon a Clan that was not long just started. Dragons of many elements and breeds seemed to only be joined for the fact that a follow tundra wanted to make a place of peace and belonging. His heart was in the right place but the squabbles and fights weren't uncommon with the dragons that seemed to be strangers. I have desided to stay with them for a time to see if I can help Arnold, the clan leader some support.

I believe it's time for me to continue on my journey, the few weeks I have stayed with the SakemeRoze clan has been well, but its time to go help others. This time my journey is alone again, over the weeks Sphinx has found a place in this clan and was really the answer to their problem with some careful guidance. When ever there is a quarrel she seems to step in for Arnold; amazing what that little dragon can do. I wonder where I will go next.

Since I was already in Lightweaver's realm, I decided to pay a visit at the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. There, I met a young dragon, Areto - a quiet wind-eyed Imperial with a carefree personality. She told me she was at the Beacon because it was the origin of the first Imperial dragons, her ancestors, and she wanted to see for herself what her breed's birthplace was like. I asked her where her home was, and she said she was uncertain; she was a whimsical traveler who supported herself on her fishing skills. Immediately I knew the perfect place for her - what could be better suited to such a spontaneous soul than the Zephyr Steppes? I suggested this to her, and she agreed heartily.

I was familiar with the path, as I had just came from Windsinger's lands days ago with Sphinx. I found my way with ease. It was a long journey, but Areto seemed tireless - and distracted, too, always pausing to admire or contemplate the broken columns of Light we left behind, as well as the beautiful azure currents of Water we passed over! In a few days, we shall reach the Steppes and find a place for Areto.

Areto seemed to develop a wistful mood as the landscape faded into the soft green of the Steppes. She told me that the place looked happy and melancholy at the same time. I was unsure what she meant, but reassured her by saying that we would find her a home soon. She has since brightened up a little.

We're both quite tired from the journey, so we've settled down in one of the grassy nooks on the hillsides. Tomorrow, we'll continue the search.

Areto and I awoke to another, rather grumpy but sociable Imperial staring down at us. He said something about intruding on his clan's territory, but after Areto politely explained that she was only looking for a home, he grudgingly brought us back to his leader's den. On the way, he sort of warmed up to us - he introduced himself as Silgyen, the best fisher in his clan, which Areto promptly challenged (she was confident that her fishing abilities were better). Silgyen laughed it off, but I was sure Areto seemed pretty serious.

The leader of the clan, Trephalion, was gruff at first, and I don't blame the Guardian for having his guard up. However, once he heard Areto's story, he grew friendlier. He asked Areto many questions about herself and seemed genuinely curious about her personality and interests. When Areto elaborated on her love for traveling and fishing, Trephalion nodded slowly, like these facts were of great importance.

We spent the whole day speaking to the leader as he led us around the Clan of the Windscripters. Eventually, though, night set in and Trephalion told us that we needed sleep. He said that he already had Lixuone prepare dens for us, which we found were extremely comfortable. Outside, Silgyen has taken the night watch over the clan territory, and waves "good night" at us with his tail.

Areto seems to have settled in nicely and is already on good terms with everyone she's met. I'm glad that we found this place.

It was Silgyen who woke us up again in the early morning. He told us that Trephalion has decided to let Areto stay in the clan, on the only condition that she would work hard on fishing to help feed all the Coatls and other Imperials. Areto agreed without hesitation, and she looked so happy that I couldn't help but smile to myself.

We saw Trephalion later in the day, and he explained to us that his clan has lacked good fishers for a while. Silgyen was the only talented one who didn't manage to scatter the fish every time he went out gathering! Areto's skills would be highly valued, not to mention that her experiences in traveling would make her a popular storyteller among the hatchlings. He thanked me for bringing the young Imperial here and bid me to stay a while longer. Of course, when it came to more of this amiable clan's hospitality, I could have no objection.

It's been little more than ten days since Trephalion bid me to stay. Areto has settled happily; she had a little fishing competition with Silgyen just two days ago, and Lixuone, their judge, was forced to call it a tie lest a serious scuffle broke out. Personally, though, I think Silgyen was superior; Areto seemed to have realized this too, and has been fishing even more diligently these past days to prove her worth. She still has room to improve, but she's quite good-natured about it; I think she's rather happy, actually, having found a home and something to work for.

Trephalion hasn't stopped thanking me for all the help. I told him today that I am thinking of leaving for foreign lands soon, and he looked very disappointed to see me go. Areto, too, was saddened when she found out. However, the calling of adventure and the prospect of helping others has not died in my heart. Tomorrow, I'll set out on yet another journey.

I have found my way into Plague Flight's territory. After the cool greens of the Windswept Plateau, the Plaguebringer's realm was a shock of pulsating reds and browns. Though the land wasn't welcoming, I'm sure that there are some dragons here in need of help and kindness.

It wasn't long before I met an odd pair of coatls, one of them clearly injured. The smaller of the two had desaturated, pale white feathers and was bound in soiled bandages, hobbling after the other coatl. I rushed over to help them, but they both insisted that neither of them were hurt. The deep red coatl introduced himself as Hawkins and the other as Eio. The two offered to let me stay with them, tempting me with the promise of non-infected food.

While Eio explained to me the conditions of his birth defect, Hawkins led us back to a particularly unusual rock formation in the Wandering Contagion. Peering out from the shelves of rock were various dragons, however, many of them seemed far more interested in their own business to bother approaching us. The coatls brought me to their clan leader, a dark, armor clad Imperial, named Tenebris. He didn't speak much, but he allowed me to stay with the clan for a little while. Despite his strong appearance, Tenebris looked exhausted and overwhelmed, so I've decided to see if there's anything I can do to help.

March 1, 2015
Wow, how time has gone by. I've spent little over a month with this nameless clan. Between aiding the dragons with gathering, and helping to break up small quarrels, I've been doing my best to bring the clan closer together. Eio and Hawkins have even asked me to come along with them on their daily adventures.

March 9, 2015
A dragon has gone missing today. In the time I've spent with the clan, I've only said a few words to him, but it still troubles me. Tenebris says that it is common for dragons to come and go as they please here, however, he insists that the missing dragon didn't leave on his own accord. The dragon's name is Isato, and his closest friend, Babylon is frantically worried. Isato has a memory loss problem and could easily get lost or wander into a hostile plague clan's territory. I joined the search party and we will begin looking for the missing dragon at daybreak.

March 16, 2015
We were able to find Isato today! He managed to get himself lost in the Abiding Boneyard in a frighting fit of amnesia. To everyone's relief, he was brought home safely. But, with a heavy heart, I've decided that it is time for me to continue on my journey. I bid the clan goodbye. Eio and Hawkins walked with me until we reached the edge of their territory. "Thank you for everything!" The coatls called out after me as we parted ways.
