Biography

Ceremonial Sash

Sopping Tidelord Sackdoll
Cirrus
Knight

Actually a mouse due to a curse. He is a Knight of the Tidehome, traveling along with the young princess Iola from the Thorn Kingdom he was visiting. When the curse hit he tried to get the princess to safety before the villain's who cursed their town ate them.

He's now trying to make a living for himself and Iola as he searches for a way to end the curse. They also try to seek out fellow survivors of their lost land, but they all seem to have perished.

SUPER rambley description of what I'm hoping to achieve with these two:

At first, Cirrus dislikes Iola and her royal ways. He think's shes just a spoiled brat who expects him to wait on her hand and foot. Cirrus has always taken his job as a knight seriously, too seriously, and finds the princess intolerable. Likewise Iola hates how stiff Cirrus is. While traveling together the two are forced to work together. Iola's family is dead, Cirrus has always been a lonely dude and they slowly grow together. It's like some weird father-daughter bond forming between two strangers from different lives.

Cirrus never choose to be a knight, it was just what he was good at. With no better direction to go in life he decided to put all his effort into being a better knight than everyone else. He learns that Iola is being forced into a life as a devout priestess, and she's been undergoing rigorous training her whole life. Cirrus feels pity for her, she never got to act like a child and just play. They're just the same, both forced into a life they never choose. Cirrus doesn't want Iola to lead the same life as him, especially when she has her whole life ahead of her.

Cirrus opens up to the kid, he tries to be more lighthearted and engage her in playfulness. He can't help but feel himself changing too. Maybe it doesn't hurt so much to laugh. Maybe he can dance with her without feeling like an idiot. Maybe he can love someone without being a vulnerable fool. And in the end the curse was the best thing to happen to him.
