Dust Slither Emerald Squall Seeker Misunderstood as a child, Beata grew up quiet and somewhat withdrawn. As she grew, she began to notice things in other dragons she had previously missed. A certain nervousness in the eyes when a certain dragon was recognized, the faint trembling in the wings when a certain sound was heard, the barely perceptible whimpering when someone brushed against them... She noticed, and she began to sympathize. Over the course of the next ten months, she found ways to ease the pain of those who hurt, encourage those who were discouraged, and lift the spirits of any who needed it. No one knew what was going on; she did it subtly, shyly, because she was unsure and slightly afraid of what would happen if they knew. She grew to love carving statues out of old, charred wood, embellishing them with shiny stones and minerals. She would leave gifts of these to those she hoped would appreciate them.

Time went by, and she eventually left her clan. She would miss them dearly, but she wanted to help more dragons, and see more of the world she had been oft told about. She still made her little statues and left them where a casual passerby might see them. Though she grew older, she still loved the thrill of hunting, especially snakes and birds.

Eventually, she realized that she missed the interactions that came with being part of a lair, and she began to search for a permanent home where she would be welcomed until she was sent to serve the deities. This search continues, and she is patient. 		Coral Snake Amber Black Capped Chickadee
