When at home, Alba lives alone in a small cave a slight distance from the rest of the clan. Upon entering the cave, one has to brush herbs hung up to dry out of the way. The cave is full of small trinkets and bottles. In the past, Alba has been in charge of the clan's dealings with Baldwin, but Alba isn't an alchemist. The tattered tomes in stacks on shelves might indicate that Alba is a witch, but that's not quite accurate, either. In fact, Alba is a warlock, similar to a witch but dealing with more wild magics. The scent of herbs in the cave mask the stench of dark magic that's become ingrained in the stone. The charms hung around the cave and the symbols carved into the walls keep the balance of magic at a reasonable level so that Alba doesn't go insane from prolonged exposure to dark magic. Beware: a visitor shouldn't stay long here unless they are also well-versed in magic and can protect themself from the potent residue of dark magics.
