- a lifeguard, dedicated to protecting the citizens of wildergreen from drowning
- reactions are often overblown and hyperbolic; a hatchling playing in a puddle may be almost tackled for "safety"
- means well, but panic out of fear often leads to overreacting
- traumatized by witnessing the drowning of parents & later childhood best friend, which caused his delusions and hyper vigilance of water safety
- goes into a bout of shame and embarrassment after an episode
- lives near the lake & spends his days patrolling ponds; even tho being near water keeps him on edge and shaky
- exhausts himself to the point where when he sleeps, he knocks out cold
- somehow still has childlike personality and behaviour? wild imagination, naive, regressive into older hatchling/young adolescent years

- friends with siren
