Alula always loved the outdoors, and exploring any little nook and cranny she could fit in. Must of her time was spent wandering across the Shattered Plains back in Dragonhome. Often quickly growing discontent with where she was staying, she constantly pushed onward.

Alula was out finding insects to feed her pet ants with, when some aggressive harpies attacked. She blindly ran across the desert in hopes of finding some shelter from the demented birds. She hid in a small crevice in the cliffs bordering the Viridian Labyrinth. But the harpies found her, and picked her out from her refuge, sending her to the hungry waves below. Her tiny wings and poor flight skill didn't do much to lessen her impact.

She awoke on the shores across from Dragon Home, the harpies nowhere in sight. the itchy sand drove her into the forest, where she found a small mining village, which she stayed in for a few months. The owner of the mine told stories of his step-son, Axinite, who left to live in Auminthina, and how the whole clan completely vanished so after. Alula decided to seek out this clan, as she was discontent with her current life and would be interested in uncovering the truth.

She quickly gave up and worked a part-time job in a trading village not far from Auminthina's original location before they disappeared. She organised and took record of the sales of a small fresh fruit and vegetable market.
