She can give off an air of prissiness and even snobbery to a degree around those who do not know her. However, as one gets to know Feronia her true self-emerges, as she is really a very down-to-earth and independent female who is a match for her icy mate, Rulf. She is a loyal friend and unlike other females in her profession, she is an expert in hand-to-hand combat with knowledge of martial arts.

She has a very special talents as well. For example, besides her martial arts skills, she is able to sing so high that birds implode into firey ash. Feronia is much more patient and kinder to others than Rulf is at times. She is very loving mate and mother. However, her alternate self is shown to be aggressive, single-minded and driven at times.

In ancient Roman religion, Feronia was a goddess associated with wildlife, fertility, health, and abundance. As the goddess who granted freedom to slaves or civil rights to the most humble part of society, she was especially honored among plebeians and freedmen.
