An old and wise veteran who was once a knight of a high caliber. After a severe leg injury, he was forced to lay down his sword. He still helps teach younger knights, but his days of battle are long over. |

Iskander grew up without knowing who his parents were, instead spending most of his childhood fighting to survive and learning how to defend himself. One day when he was still young, he stumbled upon a girl in the Tangled Wood who was locked in combat with another rogue dragon that had often caused trouble for him, too. Without thinking, Iskander went to help her, and together, they drove the rogue off. The girl thanked him, and then ran off somewhere else. It was a shame... He had wanted to talk to her. |
A few days after that, however, Iskander did get the chance to see her, because she came looking for him. Dido, as she had introduced herself, had come to thank him again for his help the other day. They talked and got along, and she came back the next day... And the next... And then it just became routine for her to meet up with him every evening. Eventually, Dido asked him if he would ever want a home, and when Iskander said he would, she invited him to come to Umbra Noctis; tempted by the thought of finally living with other people- of not being alone- he accepted. |
Iskander received the then-king's permission to live in Noctis. With no family to stay with and no money to even pay rent with, Iskander was allowed to live on the edge of the castle grounds, so long as he was in training to become a knight. As he trained, Iskander continued to talk to Dido, and after a long while, they began a relationship; he also found good friends in the new king, Drarr, and the knight commander, Hajime (even if he was a good few years older than them). In the years since, Iskander has passed his time peacefully, becoming a strong and loyal knight and eventually proposing to and marrying Dido. While they have no children of their own, they did often take care of Hajime's son, Masayoshi, and see him as family. |
