Corus is among the younger Nightcall children; a son considered a Reaper, though his entire gimmick is to pretend otherwise. He did not inherit Peyton's magic, instead carrying on the lineage of Urban's murderous power. But oh, how Shadow magic fascinated him. How absolutely fun, the art of trickery. With the help of the notorious Ghost Leviathan herself, Corus got a taste of what such magic could bring to the table. Surprising no one who knew him, he ran wild with it. In a fight, any magic Corus uses is for show; a distraction before he mercilessly beats you into the ground. He spares no expense to trick and utterly humiliate his foes; for him, "adding insult to injury" is a way of life. His Nightcall is a distinct, hyena-like, howling laugh. Whether fighting with or against him, you'll hear it often. The only one who can seem to calm this wild dragon is Kore, the Vespertine Colony's silver-tongued herbalist.
