"Tik-tik-tikki-tikki!" Squawks a shrill voice in the dense woodland, alerting travelers and residents alike of an ever-looming presence hidden amongst the foliage. In the beginning, she had been met with frightened cries and retreating footsteps back to the safety of the village, but it did not take little Tikki long to win the hearts of those who encountered her. Mischievous at worst, she enjoys flittering from treetop to treetop, or popping out from the undergrowth to surprise passersby with an excitable squawk. She remains elusive despite her shenanigans, however, and never remains within sight too long. She prefers expressing her friendliness to the villagers through gifts — often leaving berries or glittering pebbles at the doorsteps of those who are kind to her. // vestibulum auctor libero varius condimentum maximus, ettiam finibus sem in semper elementum. morbi facilisis magna hendrerit cursus euismod. |

Once an ordinary crow, Tikki lives under the enchantment of the wizard, Redwood. Originally a "familiar" of sorts, she lived with him in his hut at the edge of Thistledown Village before curiosity, combined with Redwood's magic, transformed her into the being she is today. She seems, ultimately, unbothered by the transformation and holds the eccentric spell-caster no ill will, even seemingly uninterested in ever returning to her original form. However, he does seem to be the target of mischief and pranks more so than the rest of the village. Her name, "Tikki", was originally a term of endearment given to her from the villagers. Recognizing her mostly be the noisy squawks and chirps she makes to communicate (which make a "tik-tik-tikki-tikki! sound, hence the name), the name soon stuck and she happily responds to it with a distant squawk if someone calls to her. She is content with her life as the village's "cryptid", running amok and making friends as she pleases. The feeling seems to be mutual, as well — many agreeing Thistledown just wouldn't be the same without her antics. |
