Sarasta is the young and rising star of the Thonis Opera House. The tenor was born in the Southern Icefield, but spent most of his youth and early adult life in the Sunbeam Ruins where he learned how to sing and perform. He tourneyed across the realms for a few years until he got a fixed position at Thonis' renowned opera.

His voice has been described as "a gift from the gods" and "having a symphonic likeness to the chimes that herald the coming of dawn" by some. Lofty descriptions like those are right up Sarasta's alley, though he is by no means an arrogant dragon, just a confident and prideful one. He enjoys having the spotlight and sees nothing more as a compliment than when the audience leaves the opera house with dreamy and wistful smiles on their faces.
