Alaric

History

After being thrown away and auctioned off by his parents, he became mute. Alaric was sent far away to the lands of snow and ice in the south. Enot, a young spiral who also travelled to the southern icefield, found Alaric as a hatchling. Enot brought Alaric to a cave that he was living in with Evito , Caedo , Trampler , and Cherish. Enot taught Alaric how to defend himself using his cleaver (eventually leading Alaric to make his own), and also taught Alaric a form of sign language so he didn't have to write everything down. Alaric refused to sign to anyone other than Enot.
Alaric also formed a bond with Evito and her mate Caedo. Evito taught Alaric more nuanced sword techniques, and taught him some magic as well. She also showed him how to travel using the stars and sky. Alaric himself wouldn’t consider as much more than an associate who he lived with during his hatchling hood, but Evito would consider him close to a son. So would Caedo. Trampler and Cherish were mostly out protecting their land from invading Icelanders, but Alaric always appreciated their presence. When Alaric eventually grew, he left his home with Enot and the rest of his small clan to pursue his own destiny. After a close call and something not too short of death, Alaric was changed even more than before. Now he wanders, mute and terrifying to those he comes across with his physical appearance and resemblance to death itself.
