Oxidize is a retired adventurer, who changed his chaotic and destructive life into a peaceful one. Or at least as peaceful it can get when one is plagued by nightmares and ghosts from his past. You see, Oxidize used to be selfish and do whatever he wanted. It didn't matter to him if someone got into his way and there ended up being some collateral damage.

It was all fun and games to him until the ghosts of his past came to haunt him. They refuse to leave him alone and Oxidize can hear their voices, both when he is awake and when he is asleep. He could also see them dance around him, but Oxidize chose to cover his eyes so he couldn't see them.

In an attempt to turn his life around, Oxidize became a priest and started to work at the cathedral, to help and guide other dragons seeking redemption. He offers to bless dragon eggs, their new homes and items. And he also sells holy water and symbols to protect against the Shade. And Oxidize finds great comfort from it.

Oxidize hopes that once he has done enough good deeds, the ghosts would free him.
