A fledgling that spends many hours at both the café and college, Parfait wishes to be a magic culinarian. What that means, no one is quite sure of. Regardless, he's very enthusiastic about trying to blend magic ingredients together to make enchanted treats. Only around half of the time does it turn out well, but his tenacity is admirable. He has several notebooks; many dedicated to the recipes that don't work, and a few that denote the ones that are edible.

He was taken in by Carnelia as a hatchling, having been found as a stray egg. He's the older sibling of Asterope and Ruby, and does his best to be a big brother they can look up to. He usually ends up trying to get them to cook with him, and has to be reminded they have their own interests as well when they don't want to participate. When he's not in cooking mode, he'll very enthusiastically join in on their antics... sometimes forgetting that a good role model shouldn't be getting involved in trouble.

Carnelia lets Parfait experiment with his cooking endeavors once a week, with the caveat that he will have to eat his creations (but Carnelia will stop him if it seems dangerous). This prevents him from getting too crazy with the ingredients, and steers him toward following known recipes. Parfait often heads to the café and library to study recipes and ingredients... and tasting the ingredients, too.

Of course, the best part of cooking is eating your work, and when something turns out well, Parfait makes certain that all his friends can have a taste. (He often has to stop ruby from eating it all, though.) He hopes to one day work at the café, or perhaps even start his own eatery. For now, he needs to learn how to properly clean up after himself in the kitchen.

Name origin: named after the dessert.

He was scattered twice, originally being dust/terracotta/olive, then tarnish/plum/emerald, to his current colors!
