As the prime founder and leader of Clan Firewalker, Tofu feels a heavy pressure on his broad shoulders to ensure the clan remains always happy, healthy, and prosperous. Despite a tendency to grow fretful over this, it is a job he undoubtedly excels at. With the general disposition of a warm, caring father figure, Tofu cares for and respects each member of the clan as if they were a child of his own.

Tofu does his best to always be a positive presence in the lives of his fellow Firewalkers. Typically quite cheerful and jolly in an effort to bring happiness to those around him, Tofu might come off as naive due to his general positivity. The truth is much to the contrary. Having faced much hardship in the years leading up to the proper founding of Clan Firewalker, Tofu knows well when a situation requires serious treatment, and considers himself skilled in judging the sort of tact a given situation requires.

But Tofu is far from perfect, and he would be the first to acknowledge this. It is for this reason that him and his fellow progenitor, Jupiter, organized the System Council in order to help things run smoothly and in a somewhat more democratic fashion. Alongside Tofu, the highest ranking members of the council are Jupiter, Tofu's mate Helia, and the clan's Light emissary Saturn. Though the other council members still hold important decision-making power, their positions generally have less to do with the daily ins-and-outs of actually running the clan.

JUPITER_
Tofu's original mate and fellow progenitor. Jupiter's stubbornness means they don't always see eye-to-eye.

HELIA_
His current mate and undoubtedly the one Tofu loves most. He's seemingly the only one who can see through her stiff exterior.

HELIOTROPE_
Undoubtedly Tofu's most trusted confidant. Though she carries no "official" clan leadership role, he often seeks her advice when faced with important decisions.

AUBERGINE_
Tofu's granddaughter and fighting partner. He eternally admires her powerful magic... and ability to heal him in battle.

SATURN_
The clan's Light emissary who Tofu tries to view as an equal, but in many ways sees as something of a son.

LARIMAR_
The leader of the Firewalkers' closest allied clan. Having mentored her in the way that Warbrick mentored him, he is very proud of her and her clan's success.

Born in the broiling hearth of the Ashfall Wastes, Tofu always felt a dear connection to his fiery home. However, when Clan Firewalker was still young and Tofu feeling rather lost, he sought the guidance of one of his few friends. From just across the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the leaders of a Light Clan that the young dragon had befriended offered guidance to him and Jupiter, and so across the Sea they moved themselves. It was there that the fledgling dragons first established as a Light clan themselves, with Warbrick and her family providing their experience and advice, and even offering to help train the new clan's first warriors. For this help, Tofu feels eternally indebted.

But Warbrick's clan eventually moved on, re-establishing themselves in the depths of the Scarred Wasteland. They never lost touch, always remaining one of his clan's closest allies, but it was their exodus that made Tofu realize how much he longed to return to his home. The council agreed, and it was this revelation that also helped then finally decide on the clan's name: Clan Firewalker.

It was during their time in the Sunbeam Ruins that Tofu and Jupiter came across something curious: a pair of Light eggs, on the brink of hatching and bound together in a manner not much unlike they had been when they had hatched. Their intent to leave the eggs alone was quickly dashed when, seemingly, their very presence caused the eggs to hatch. The hatchlings were thus taken in by the Firewalkers, as they had many other hatchlings before and since, and grew into the clan's Light emissaries and honorary progenitors, Saturn and his mate Sirius.

Despite Tofu's expectations, Saturn and Sirius elected to join the Firewalkers when they returned to the Ashfall Wastes, and during the carving of their new home in the side of the Great Furnace, the pair created a haven deep within the cavern for their fellow Stargazers. The presence of their strings of magically charged lights illuminating the halls of the Firewalkers' lair is a daily reminder to Tofu of how his clan has been, in his words, "touched by the Light," a statement that he seems to hold a spiritual reverence to.

... Though not a topic he is keen on discussing much, Tofu is aware of the existence of the other sect of Clan Firewalker that exists within Plague territory, if it could truly be considered that. Though wary of entering Plague territory in the first place, and especially wary of the unstable nature of the dragons within the sect, he still worries for the safety of his great-grandson, and eagerly prods the clan scouts for information any time they happen near the Quarantine Zone.

Extra

Carved into the side of the Great Furnace overlooking the flows of the Blacksand Annex, the Firewalkers' lair consists of a large cavern kept warm by the furnace's heat but carefully insulated from the fumes outside.
Overjoyed to be back in the heat of his home territory, Tofu has gleefully started picking up on the trade of smithing. Though far from the most experienced or skilled smith in the Wastes, it makes him feel closer to the culture of his home.
