Biography
Careful with coin and words alike, Abadar came into the lair wishing for a better life far from his homeland. Having little to say of what he left, he quickly established himself as a force of balance and fairness within the chaotic place, he earned the respect and trust of all who know him.
Yet, this trust rarely goes both ways, with Abadar confiding in so few that it's thought among the members of the lair that only Calistria truly knows him and his history. In truth, Abadar trusts only three members fully; Calistria, the only dragon with whom he's had children; Asmodeus, with whom Abadar shares a common interest in contracts; and the Lady Shelyn, whose countenance Abadar will attest he would be dead without.
All debts, and transactions of the lair go through his notice, and no dragon may cheat one another where he casts his gaze. A true defender of equality - though not equity - Abadar has established a fair amount of potential suitors within the lair, though he takes none and has only Calistria (though this monogamous behavior does not go both ways; not that it bothers Abadar).
However, Abadar's interests range far beyond simple exchanges of coin and gems, and he will often interject himself into matters of importance to him. A lover of architecture and civil engineering, he often finds himself in Torag and Shelyn's company when they plan new lair expansions as the voice of efficient design and the three strike a perfect balance of art, utility, and efficient use of materials. In matters of inter-working politics and even in the relations of bosses and their workers, Abadar is less the meek banker and more the staunch supporter of unions, fair work practices, and safe work environments. He often finds himself defending Socothbenoth's chosen family from Torag and dragons like him who believe very strongly in a nuclear family being best for hatchlings, as Abadar feels strongly about a loving family being more important than any sort of blood relation or gender roles of the parents.
