Tetra

Tetra's parents swear that she could speak Common Draconian the day she hatched, and that she learned Coatl within a week of her hatching from the passing conversations of her clanmates outside her nest. Her outstanding ability to comprehend new languages after shockingly little exposure made her a valuable asset to her birth clan besieged by Serthis and Talonok. In her adolescence, she would become a tool of diplomacy and taught the art of social engineering. Her clan's Centaur allies agreed to finish her upbringing in an environment where she could be immersed in Beastclan cultures.

When her training was complete, she was enlisted (not unwillingly, but certainly not with gusto) as a full-fledged Shadow "diplomat." Her skills as a polyglot gave her an edge when it came to talking her way into both the good graces of potential allies and the places where enemies kept their secrets.

She met her match on a visit to a Nature clan, meant as a ruse to poach several rare flowers from the Everbloom Gardens. A gembond-blinded Skydancer named Dawnsight was to meet with her as liaison, but he had an unusual ability as well. When she made her very first attempt at swiping a flower, he knew what she was doing as easily as if he'd miraculously regained his sight.
