Notes:
  • (IRL) Named after Tūmatauenga, Maori god of war, hunting, and mankind.
  • A scout and messenger for the Wispwalkers
  • Besides the Tangled Wood, he runs the most messages in the Scarred Wasteland, where he does a lot of freelance work-- a main income-earner for the clan.
  • He once did a delivery run to a clan on the edge of the Wyrmwound, but was mugged on the way, and had his face shoved into the putrid lake. That pool is highly acidic in some parts, and it burned away his face and eyes. He also lost most of his left arm trying to stop himself from falling in all the way.
  • He would have died if not for the latent power of Din's bloodline that he got through his surrogate mother Scalebrand. As the event awoke his powers, he now has literally god-tier magic.
  • Now permanently and irreversibly blind. He can "see" using his magic, but the "images" from this tend to miss fine details, don't show reflections, and are entirely in greyscale.
  • An optimistic, playful and competitive dragon with a love of freedom. Barely knows when to hold his tongue.
  • Contrary to common expectation after seeing the first side of who he is, Tumat is actually really damn aggressive, just not in the malicious sense. He feels tight bonds of kinship, and kills without hesitation when he deems it necessary.
